MARTIN CREED: WHAT'S THE POINT OF IT?
JANUARY 2014

Over the past two and a half decades British artist Martin Creed has pursued an extraordinary path by confounding the traditional categories of art. Winner of the 2001 Turner Prize, Creed is recognised around the world for his minimalistic approach that strips away the unnecessary, but preserves an abundance of wit, humour and surprise. Crossing all artistic media and including music, his art transforms everyday materials and actions into surprising meditations on existence and the invisible structures that shape our lives. This exhibition will be the first major survey of Martin Creed's work, spanning its most minimal moments and extravagant room-sized installations.

TRACEY EMIN: ANGEL WITHOUT YOU
DECEMBER 2013
MOCA, Miami
The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), North Miami, opens tonight the first American museum exhibition dedicated to the acclaimed British artist Tracey Emin. This is the first-ever exhibition to focus on Emin's works in neon, a crucial aspect of the artist's practice that began with her iconic The Tracey Emin Museum, (1995), which opens the show. The exhibition explores how Emin's neons have played an essential role in the development of her work, marking a shift from her early diaristic and confessional style to a more cryptic and open-ended form of expression.
