The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Italian Cultural Institute, and Columbia University’s Italian Academy for Advanced Studies in America selected the artist Pietro Ruffo for their eight edition of New York Prize, a scholarship program for emerging Italian artists.

On Friday 3 September 2010, Galleria Lorcan O'Neill Roma will open the third edition of Street View in the gallery's secondary space on the corner of Via Orti d'Alibert and Via della Lungara, with a project by English artist Eddie Peake.

Thursday 23 September 2010, Kiki Smith will open her second solo show with the Galleria Lorcan O'Neill Roma. The exhibition will include new works on paper and sculptures.

This solo exhibition at The Fruitmarket Gallery in Edinburgh focuses on stacking and progression in size, showing process and progress. The show consists of recent works and a new public commission; part of Edinburgh Art Festival.

The Staatliche Kunstsammlungen in Dresden, Germany, opens a major exhibition of the works of Jeff Wall in the Kunsthalle im Lipsiusbau, next to the Albertinum on 20 June 2010.  The exhibition will feature more than 20 photographs, providing an overview of Wall's visual work from the 1980's through today.  The show will be open through 19 September 2010.
